amanda-cocozzoAs the locally born and raised owner and a treating therapist, Amanda brings a strong orthopedic background in addition to experience in caring for patients with surgical and traumatic injuries, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology and renal diagnoses.  Amanda has also had extensive continuing education in osteopathic based manual techniques including cranial sacral therapy and spinal realignment utilizing muscle energy techniques.  She has diverse experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for pediatric through geriatric-aged clientele.  She thrives on patient interaction and the various challenges associated with different conditions.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy with a minor in biology from Daemen College, Amherst, NY.

CourtneyAs a native to the area, Courtney Strait brings a love for helping people get back on the saddle with her years of experience working with patients suffering from orthopedic to spinal cord injuries. Having recently worked in the Albany Medical Center’s rehabilitative unit, Courtney has strong experience working with patients in the most acute states. She’s treated people post stroke, amputation, traumatic brain injury, infectious disease, cardiothoracic surgery, along with in the intensive care units throughout the hospital.

Courtney grew up in the Capital District and was a ski racer for the United States Ski Team. After an injury, Courtney went on to the University of New Hampshire where she graduated with a B.A. in philosophy and business. She then continued her education to attain a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University, in Manchester, NH.

Having spent over a decade close to the ocean, Courtney enjoys fishing and surfing.
